Nobu Singapore
Highlights
About
Nobu Singapore occupies a singular place in the city's dining landscape — one of the world's most recognised Japanese restaurant brands, set within the Four Seasons Hotel on Orchard Boulevard. Chef Nobu Matsuhisa's cooking philosophy was shaped by years working in Japan, Peru, and Los Angeles before his legendary New York opening in 1994, and the Singapore restaurant carries that same DNA: Japanese precision married to Peruvian boldness, producing dishes that have become global icons. The Black Cod with Miso — marinated for 72 hours — and the Yellowtail Jalapeño remain the dishes that define Nobu globally. Singapore's location is notable for being the world's first Nobu to feature a private Chef's Table — a rare immersive experience available to groups seeking exclusive access to the kitchen. The restaurant also houses two dedicated teppanyaki rooms and a serene Zen garden. Executive Chef Héctor Mirón Parra, a long-time protégé of Nobu Matsuhisa, leads the kitchen.

Your Dining Journey
A glimpse of the Signature Omakase experience at Nobu Singapore.
Arrival — Zen Garden & Bar
Settle into the bar from 5:30pm for a Nobu cocktail. The rock garden sets a meditative tone before the meal begins.
Opening Act — Yellowtail Jalapeño
Paper-thin slices of yellowtail, yuzu-soy dressing, a single jalapeño disc per piece. The dish that launched a thousand imitations — none have matched the original.
The Icon — Black Cod with Miso
Marinated 72 hours in sweet Nobu miso, broiled until the glaze caramelises. Arguably the most imitated Japanese dish of the past 30 years. At Nobu, it remains matchless.
Option — Teppanyaki Rooms
Two private teppanyaki rooms offer an immersive table-side cooking experience. Ideal for groups or business entertaining where the theatre of the grill becomes the centrepiece.
Finale — Japanese-Inspired Desserts
Bento boxes of petit fours, matcha confections, and sake-paired sorbet mark a graceful close to the meal. The Chef's Table private experience adds a kitchen tour and personalised farewell.

The Black Cod with Miso is non-negotiable — order it regardless of what else you choose. If visiting for the first time, the weekday bento lunch at S$65++ is an exceptional entry point that includes the classics at a fraction of the dinner price. For dinner, the Signature Omakase lets Chef Héctor compose the meal for you and is the best way to experience the full range. Note the dress code for dinner: long pants and covered shoes are enforced. The private Chef's Table must be arranged in advance and is best suited to groups of 6 or more.
