SUSHISAMBA Singapore
Highlights
About
SUSHISAMBA Singapore sits 260 metres above the CBD on the 52nd floor of Capital Tower, offering what is arguably the most dramatic dining room in the city. The concept — born in New York and now spanning Miami, London, Las Vegas, and beyond — fuses the culinary traditions of Japan, Brazil, and Peru, reflecting the historical migration of Japanese workers to South America in the early 20th century. The result is a menu that moves effortlessly between sashimi, tiradito, anticuchos, and robata-grilled meats, all underpinned by a shared love of acid, heat, and umami. Notably, SUSHISAMBA Singapore holds full Halal certification — a rare distinction for a restaurant of this calibre — making it one of the few premium Japanese-influenced venues accessible to Muslim diners. The three-storey space draws as much on theatre as gastronomy, with live samba performers and DJs, especially on weekend evenings.

A guide to the full SUSHISAMBA experience — 52 floors above the CBD.
Arrival — The Lift & The View
The dedicated lift to the 52nd floor of Capital Tower is the first signal that this is not an ordinary dinner. Step out at 260 metres above the CBD and take a moment with the panoramic view before being seated — it only improves throughout the evening.
Opening — Tiradito & Sashimi
Begin with the Peruvian-Japanese cold starters: Tiradito (Peruvian-style sashimi with leche de tigre) and the signature SUSHISAMBA Sashimi. These dishes define the restaurant's core identity — Japanese precision with South American brightness.
The SUSHISAMBA Roll
The maki rolls are architectural — visually bold and designed to be shared. The SUSHISAMBA Roll (spicy tuna, avocado, crispy quinoa) is the signature. Order two or three rolls for the table alongside the cold dishes.
Hot Dishes — Robata & Nikkei Mains
The robata grill produces skewers finished with Peruvian-inspired sauces — anticucho (Peruvian marinade) applied to Japanese-quality proteins. The Black Cod with Miso Amarillo and Wagyu Picanha are the standout mains.
Finale — Cocktails & Desserts at Sunset
Time your reservation for sunset to see the city transform from golden hour to city lights. End with the Samba Cake or the Brazilian-inspired dessert platter. The bar continues well into the evening — this is a place for lingering.
Editor's Note
SUSHISAMBA is genuinely one of a kind in Singapore — there is simply no other venue where you can enjoy Halal-certified sushi and tiradito 260 metres above the city skyline. The Friday Long Lunch at S$48++ is outstanding value for the setting. For dinner, request a window table when booking — views after dark are spectacular. The Samba Chili Crab Roll is a must-order Singapore exclusive. Saturday nights with live samba and DJs run late, so plan accordingly if you want the full theatrical experience.
