Does halal ramen taste as good? Honest: pork bone creates specific viscosity that can't be replicated (physics). But Chef Tanihara doesn't imitate tonkotsu — he creates DIFFERENT but equally valid experiences. Yuzu adds brightness tonkotsu can't. Black Mayu adds depth. Not a compromise but creative innovation. Not trying to be halal Ippudo — trying to be the BEST halal ramen. In that category: no competition in Jurong.
