What's Special

Every Japanese category: sushi, hot pot, tempura, ramen, pizza, sake, desserts. Group of 8 with different cravings? Everyone happy.
Real Man Hot Pot
Meat tower lowered into bubbling broth tableside. Theatrical + Instagramable. Sukiyaki nabe at every table.
Students
Student discounts weekdays. Free-flow water + rice. ~S$20/person. Default student izakaya for celebrations.

Full Menu Guide

Watami's menu is enormous. Category-by-category guide below.

🥘 Hot Pots ★

Hot pots = Watami's biggest draw. Bubbling at your table. Theatrical communal dining. Share and add individual sides.

Nabe Culture 鍋

Nabe = Japan's beloved communal hot pot tradition. Everyone gathers, cooks together, eats together. Inherently social. Why Watami's hot pots are so central — designed for groups, sharing, conversation.

Sukiyaki = aristocrat of nabe. Beef + sweet soy broth + raw egg dip = silky luxury. Real Man Hot Pot = pork broth + dramatic meat tower. Both excellent for sharing.

Izakaya Culture

Editor's Note

Editor's Note

All-rounder. Not best at anything, decent at everything. Hot pots shine. Service is the Achilles heel. For groups wanting everything at one table: the only answer.

Comparisons

vs Sushi Tei: Specialist vs generalist. Sushi Tei for sashimi. Watami for hot pots + izakaya + mixed groups.

vs Ichiban Boshi: Very similar. Ichiban Boshi more outlets + more consistent. Watami better hot pots + izakaya vibes. Choose whichever is closer.

vs Ramen specialists: Watami's ramen is 'forgettable'. For ramen go to Ippudo/Hitoyoshi. But for ramen + sushi + hot pot + sake at one table = only Watami.
